I grew up in Cedartown, Georgia with my one younger brother and parents who are also educators in Polk County. I graduated with honors from Cedartown High School in 2017, and graduated from the University of West Georgia in 2022 with a bachelor's degree in English and a concentration in Secondary Education. After completing my student teaching internship at Villa Rica High School and falling in love with the environment and the staff, I was more than happy to get to stay a while longer! Soon after graduating, I was hired in the 2022-2023 school year. Jumping into this new school year I'm so excited and ready to see all the awesome things our class will get to learn, experience and bring into the world!
