Athletic Director

Mr. Rick Sauls is the Athletic Director and an Assistant Principal at VRHS. He is a Villa Rica native and VRHS alumni. Mr. Sauls earned his Bachelor's Degree from University of West Georgia, his Master's Degree at Jacksonville State University and Specialist Degree at NOVA Southeastern University.  Mr. Sauls has 29 years of experience in education, with 25 years of experience as a head football coach, head baseball coach, and head basketball coach. During that time, he spent 14 years coaching at VRHS. 

Mr. Sauls is married to Leisha, who is the principal at Tallapoosa Primary School. They have three children. Tripp, 22, is a graduate of VRHS and currently attends Kennesaw State University. Gracie Jay, 16, and Tate, 14, are both student athletes at VRHS.
