Ryan Munsey is the Head Girls Wrestling Coach. He has been on staff at VRHS since 2022. While in High School he wrestled on the Whitewater High School team that placed 3rd, and 6th in the state. He graduated from University of West Georgia where he majored in History Education.
Coach Munsey has coached wrestling at VRHS for 2 years as the JV Coach and Girls Assistant. Coach Munsey has been the Head Girls Coach since 2024, and has helped lead the varsity boys team to a Region Championship 2023 and 2024 as well as placing top 8 in the State in 2024. He has coached a girl to the state tournament for 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 seasons. He led our girls program to 6th place finish at region out of 31 teams in the 2024-2025 season.
