Bio
Wildcats Country, My name is James “Jim” Jones. As a proud alumnus of Villa Rica High and 2001 graduate, I am excited to be returning home. My wife and I have 3 children, and one grandson.
I graduated from the University of West Georgia, there I earned bachelor’s, master’s, and specialist degrees.
I have coached high school football for 14 years. My coaching journey consists of running backs and wide receivers at Villa Rica (2012-2014, 2016-2017), running backs at South Cobb High(2015), wide receivers at Cartersville High (2018-2020), wide receivers and running backs at Carrollton High (2021-2024), and offensive coordinator at Westlake High (2025).
In my new role, I will serve as the Associate Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator.
I am excited to be able to give back to a community and school that has given so much to me, and I look forward to empowering our present and future Wildcats with the skills that will prepare them for their next step(s) in life.
Go Wildcats!
