I have been teaching at VRHS since 2015. Before teaching here I was a Business Instructor at West Georgia Technical College for over 5 years. I decided to become a business teacher after working as a recruiter in the business field. Conducting interviews and walking people through the employment process revealed to me a need for young people to learn these skills before it was time for them to enter the workforce. I have been teaching for over 15 years now. I truly believe in technical education. Being prepared for the workforce is a great asset to our students. I am proud to help students obtain this asset. I was a recruiter for over seven years and know what employers are looking for in an employee. I hope to teach students the skills they need to be successful in any career they choose.
