These will be in the new gym lobby. Seniors will go with their Senior Lit class.


Balfour will be on campus during all lunches on Thursday, March 30th to deliver graduation announcements. All balances must be paid in full in order to receive your order.



Senior field trip to World of Coke is on April 20th. All deadlines have passed and the participant list is now closed. There will be a final grade check just before the date of the trip. All participants must meet all Senior Privilege requirements to go on the trip. Tickets have been purchased and there will be no refunds at this point."


Have you already received your acceptance to your chosen college / university?  Send an email or drop by the Media Center to let Mrs. Evans know.  We'd love to add your big news to our daily announcements and to a compiled Class of 2017 list on the website.  Mrs. Evans will need your name, the name of the college or university that you plan to attend and have been accepted to, and the degree / career you plan to pursue. All Seniors planning on going to prom: Dues are currently $90 for Seniors. There will be another fee increase on February 16th. Make sure you get those payments in to Ms. Bryant or Ms. Sterrett ASAP.


Senior grades are due by MAY 11th. If you are in E20-20, you must have all classwork completed by that date.Seniors MUST be completed with E20-20 and other online courses by 4 p.m. on May 11th in order to walk in the graduation ceremony. Senior grades are due from teachers by then and virtual classes must also be completed.

If you are not finished with your online coursework, you will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony. There will not be any exceptions or last minute adjustments for graduation participants.


There will be a National College Fair at the Georgia International Convention Center on March 19th from 12:30-4:00. Instructions for registering are posted on the VRHS website. Go to the Guidance section, click on Forms, and then National College Fair.

It's an exciting year for you as a Senior and we couldn't be happier to work with you to make it the best year yet! Scholastic Images / Balfour is our provider for Graduation Products! We met with Seniors to go over Graduation Announcements and senior dues which includes their Cap-Gown-Tassel. The dues amount is $125.00 Seniors received a Graduation Product packet to take home for parents to look over.

Graduation is on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at 7pm

At: UWG Coliseum

Doors open at 6pm for guests with tickets

Students are to report to UWG Coliseum in required dress code by 4pm.

Graduation tickets:
Graduating students who have paid their senior dues will receive 10 tickets each at the last graduation practice.

Extra tickets
The box office at UWG Coliseum will have any remaining tickets at no charge and will open at 5:30 pm on the 18th first come, first serve; one ticket per person in line until they run out
