I am a native of Heflin, Alabama and a 1998 graduate of Cleburne County High School. After graduating high school I attended Southern Union Community College on a baseball scholarship and was a two year starter for the Bison at catcher. In 2002 I graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Special Education and accepted a teaching position at Rome High School.  While at Rome I coached varsity football, baseball, and wrestling. In 2003 I accepted the defensive coordinator's position at Berrien County High School and also coached varsity baseball. In 2005 I accepted a position as a special education teacher at Newnan High School. While I Newnan HS I taught special education for 2 years and Driver Education for 7 years. I also served as the defensive coordinator for football, assistant baseball coach, head golf coach, and head wrestling coach. In 2014 I was named Athletic Director/Assistant Principal and I served in that role for 4 years. A love for football led me to return to the field and classroom at Villa Rica High School. My wife Allison and I reside in Newnan, Georgia with our 8 year old son, Grayson and our Labrador Retriever Millie.
