I am an alumna of Temple High School, where I played volleyball and basketball for four years. I was also involved in club volleyball, where I played for the Atlanta Boom Volleyball Institute and Cobb Atlanta Juniors before receiving a scholarship to continue my education and playing career at Savannah State University. Upon graduation, I acted on my passion for working with children and started my career in education as special education paraprofessional at Shuman and Haven Elementary in Savannah, Georgia. I also started up my coaching career as an assistant volleyball and basketball coach at Sol C. Johnson High School. After three years in the classroom and three seasons with SCJ, I obtained a teacher certification for Special Education (P-12) and Behavior Sciences (6-12). This is will be my fourth year at VRHS, where I began my journey as a certified teacher, my sixth year coaching high school volleyball and my second as the head volleyball coach at VRHS. I hope that my experience both on the court and in the classroom will aide in the acceleraion of academics and athletics here at VR!
