Congratulations to Mrs. Shayna Moses, who is the VRHS 2016-17 Teacher of the Year!
When Mr. Glen Harding, principal at Villa Rica High School, prepared to announce the VRHS Teacher of the Year, he prefaced the announcement by saying that the new TOTY embodied the essence of what it means to be a Villa Rica High School Wildcat. Mrs. Shayna Moses is a very busy teacher at VRHS – not only is she a classroom educator, teaching classes in Programming, AP Computer Science, and Intro to Digital Tech, but she is also the FBLA sponsor, CTAE department chair, and Yearbook sponsor. In addition, Mrs. Moses serves on the board for Georgia Business Education Association as the Awards Chair.
Mrs. Moses’ own education includes: Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Education from the University of West GA, and a Specialist degree from Piedmont College. She became a Villa Rica High Wildcat in 2005. In her words, “It’s great to be a Villa Rica Wildcat!” The faculty, staff, and students are honored to call her their Teacher of the Year.
