2016-17 Governor’s Honors Program
(Carrollton, Ga. - November 18, 2016)
The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors during the program. The program offers instruction that is different from the typical high school classroom, and that is designed to provide students with the academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders. The students listed in the attachment have been nominated to The Governor’s Office of Student Achievement to represent the Carroll County School System. The student’s will be notified by email no later than January 27th, 2016, if selected as a semi-finalist for this summer program.
