The Villa Rica Cluster Celebration Night was held at 6:00pm on August 22nd in the VRHS Band Room. Senior Class President Racheal Attaway opened the meeting and the VRHS JROTC did an impressive Presentation of Colors. Mr. Glen Harding, principal of VRHS, welcomed meeting attendees, which were composed of community members, Carroll County school board members, Superintendent Scott Cowart,  Assistant Superintendent Dana Harmon, teachers representing the cluster schools, along with students.  Mrs. Harman followed Mr. Harding with a special presentation. Michelle Goen, whose children attend Villa Rica Schools, asked her daughters to share their experiences.

The Cluster Celebration Report was given by the principals of Villa Rica Schools.  One highlight was a video presentation of the new College and Career Academy North which opened its doors this school year.  A celebration of note is that Villa Rica High School led the county in having the highest End of Course test scores.

To wrap up the meeting, the Sand Hill Elementary Chorus delighted attendees with their Olympic songs.
