Approximately 100 VRHS advanced placement students attended AP Summer Camp at VRHS on May 25-26. Students learned necessary skills for successfully mastering the rigorous advanced placement curriculum which helps students receive college credit while still attending high school. A variety of workshops were held: how to relieve stress through time management skills, how to turn in assignments on Google drive, how to identify and use their own learning styles to their advantage, and how to test the local water. The following teachers conducted this year's camp: Cindy Kruger, Cynthia Cox, Sarah Triplett, and Wes Miller.
Gifted Education Coordinator, Cindy Kruger, said that she is proud that VR teachers and students have shown such commitment to the VRHS AP program. She credits this level of commitment for making Villa Rica's AP program the largest and most successful program in the county.
