VRHS Boys Weight Lifting Team placed 2nd at the GACA State Weight Lifting Meet on Saturday. Logan Ball (12th Grade), Jeremiah Fuller (11th Grade), and Kaleb Aker (10th Grade) were named State Champions of their Individual Weight Class.Individuals who placed include: Caleb Stephens-Neal (2nd Place), Jay Carter (2nd Place), Sawyer Daniell (2nd Place), Jace Ratford (3rd Place), Xavier Mccollough (3rd Place), Jaiden Terry (4th Place), Bo Adcock (5th Place), Hudson Hyneman (6th Place). Jeremiah Fuller was named the AAAAA Pound for Pound Champion. Coach Austin Barron has overseen this program for the last 2 years and is proud of the success the boys have seen in the weight room as well as in the Area and State Competitions.
