Hello and welcome to VRHS! This school year is my 7th year teaching mathematics in Georgia. I began my career with one year at Lithia Springs High School in Douglas County and then moved to VRHS to continue my career. I have spent my time in the classroom teaching Coordinate Algebra, Algebra 1, Analytic Geometry, and Geometry. I received my Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Communication Arts and Sciences. I attended Calvin College in Grand Rapids Michigan, where I was also born and raised. After moving to Georgia, I married my husband, Wesley Garmon and pursued my Masters Degree at Kennesaw State University. I completed my Masters of Education in Mathematics in December 2018. Teaching has been my dream and my passion since I can remember! I believe in whole child education and creating a space in which all students can be successful!
