Mr. Wesley Miller, AP Language Arts teacher at VRHS, has recently accepted a position with Mt. Zion Middle School as Assistant Principal. The students and faculty at VRHS will definitely miss Mr. Miller being a VRHS Wildcat, but congratulate him on becoming a Mt. Zion Eagle.
(Carrollton, Georgia – March 30, 2017) Mr. Wesley Miller was named Assistant Principal of Mt. Zion Middle School at the Carroll County Board of Education called board meeting on March 30, 2017. Mr. Wesley Miller began his career in education with Douglas County School District in 2011. Mr. Miller was hired at Villa Rica High School as a Language Arts Teacher in 2014 and was recognized as STAR Teacher in 2016. Mr. Miller’s educational credentials include his bachelor’s degree in English from University of Montevallo, his master's degree in Education from California State Polytechnic University, and his specialist degree in Educational Leadership from University of West Georgia. Mr. Miller has also participated in the Aspiring Leader Program through Carroll County Schools and GLISI. Mr. Miller stated, “From the first moments that I sat down with the administration, faculty, staff, and parents at Mt. Zion Middle School, I knew that anyone would be lucky to work in such a dedicated environment where people treat each other like family. As such, I am both excited and honored to serve as the Assistant Principal. Go Eagles!” ”Mt. Zion Middle School and the Mt. Zion Community are very excited to welcome Mr. Wesley Miller to our Eagle family. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge. He will be a great addition to our cluster.” Ms. Robison, Principal of Mt. Zion Middle stated.
