The VRHS Senior Class of 2017 is proud to recognize the following students who have received their college / university acceptances:

 

Savannah Parker has been accepted into the University of West Georgia and plans to major in Early Childhood Education. Congratulations, Savannah!

 

Adrian Sanchez has been accepted into the University of West Georgia and plans to major in Computer Science. Congratulations, Adrian!

 

Elberta McCarthy signed her National Letter of Intent on February 1st to play soccer for the University of West Georgia.  She plans to major in Sports Management.  Congratulations, Elberta!

 

Julie Bernhardt signed her National Letter of Intent on February 1st to play soccer for Life University.  Julie plans to major in Exercise Science.

 

D'Asia Holloway has been accepted into Spelman College and Tuskegee University and plans to major in Pre-Med Biology to become a pediatrician. Congratulations, D'Asia!

 

Journee Rogers has been accepted to AMDA, which is The American Musical Dramatic Academy! It is a private school and only has an acceptance rate of 23%.  Congratulations, Journee!

 

Alexus Mason has been accepted to Savannah State University. She plans to major in Psychology and to become a Psychiatric Nurse . Alexus wants to strive for a Masters Degree to pursue her dream of helping others. She believes that this career choice will help make a change in the world and better the ones around us. Congratulations, Alexus!

 

Abby Waldron has been accepted to the University of Georgia, where she will major in History. Afterwards, she plans to enter the Law program in graduate school to prepare for a career as a judge.  Congratulations, Abby!

 

Sadie Harris has been accepted into Georgia State University, where she plans to pursue a career in the Graphic Design field. Congratulations, Sadie!

 

Ansley Nash has been accepted to the University of Georgia, where she plans to major in Political Science.  Ansley plans to pursue a career as a criminal prosecutor and eventually a judge.  Congratulations, Ansley!

 

Adriana Maldonado-Mercado has been accepted to the University of Puerto Rico where she will be studying Spanish in preparation for becoming a Spanish teacher. Congratulations Adriana!

 

Chad Weaver was accepted to Auburn University, Georgia Tech and the University of Alabama.  He will be attending University of Alabama in the fall, majoring in Mechanical Engineering.  He has a full out-of-state tuition scholarship, plus an Engineering Department Scholarship, with the two totaling a little over $115,000. Congratulations Chad!

 

Blake Dawson Bundrum has been accepted to and will be attending Kennesaw State University. Congratulations Dawson!

 

Joshua Dawkins has accepted an offer to attend Georgia State University. Congratulations Joshua!
